Young women have told Parent Action on Drugs that health messaging about breast cancer and risk factors is effective when it comes from peers, breast cancer survivors and caring women in their lives.
PAD has been funded by the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to develop the project "Check It Out/ À voir - - Phase 2 - A Peer-Led Health Promotion Project to Increase Awareness of Lifestyle Factors and the Risk for Breast Cancer with Young Women, ages 16-20 in Ontario".
We are developing a resource for "Caring Women" as part of the Project. You can help us with developing this resource.
Click on the link http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=A30_2b9UXLAOko7mgI6Os3Gg_3d_3d for a very short survey. Your answers will help us help you talk to the young women in your life.
Please circulate this call to as many people as you think would be interested in being a part of this project.
