Resource Coordinator, Quality Improvement and Innovation Partnership

18 month contract position

The Quality Improvement and Innovation Partnership (QIIP) is seeking a Resource Coordinator to work as part of our core team to support Family Health Teams (FHTs) across Ontario.  

This key position will be responsible for the compilation, creation, production and distribution of resources that will assist FHTs to create organizational frameworks, build teams, introduce improvements and share best practices, through web based applications and printed media.  The position will manage and update the QIIP website, facilitate on-line discussions, support the activities of QIIP working groups and oversee the production and distribution of other relevant materials.   

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, combined with experience in the health care system, preferably primary care.  The position requires knowledge of contemporary communication theory, principles and practices including, writing, editing, production and publishing skills.  Relationship building, customer service, communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills are essential along with the ability to work independently and in a dynamic team environment.  Strong knowledge of MS Office and current web standards, and the ability to prepare documentation for web-based applications are required.
