Director, Community Engagement and Communications, Toronto Central LHIN

The Toronto Central LHIN welcomes an exciting new role to its senior management team and seeks a senior and seasoned communications executive to join the team. Our job is to work with the Ontario government, local health service providers, community agencies, residents and others to ensure a well coordinated system of health services. As a key member of the senior management team, you will play an important role in the establishment of LHIN goals, objectives
and strategies. You will lead community engagement and communications initiatives so that priorities and a better understanding of the LHIN's role and goals within the community are achieved.

An important part of your role will be leading the development of effective public relations, media relations, community outreach and communications strategies that incorporate best practice tools, mechanisms, methodologies and evaluation techniques.

The successful candidate will possess a master's degree or have equivalent experience and education in communications, media relations, public relations or similar field coupled with eight plus years' related experience and superior communication skills.
