Council of Agencies Serving South Asians Roundtable on Health Promotion

The Council of Agencies Serving South Asians (CASSA) is hosting a roundtable discussion to identify gaps with respect to health promotion in the South Asian community. The outcome of the roundtable will be used to inform the next steps for CASSA.

The four key areas that will shape the discussion are as follows:

  1. The role of health care governance as it pertains to the South Asian community
  2. The challenges of accessing general health care services
  3. South Asian specific gaps in chronic diseases
  4. Accessing sexual and mental health care: the challenges and barriers of both health care providers and the South Asian community
