Adolescent Brain Development Workshop

10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Ever wondered why and how adolescents think and act like they do? Recent research on adolescent brain development has opened doors of understanding. With this information, those who work with youth will be able to base their interaction, engagement and work with youth from this new level of awareness. Garfield Gini-Newman, lecturer at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), will present research and provide tips to help you help youth develop their critical thinking and decision-making skills in a way that is both powerful and relevant to teens.
