Project Manager, High Blood Pressure, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario currently has an opening for a Project Manager, High Blood Pressure. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team at the Foundation within the Research, Advocacy and Health Partnerships Department. This is a 3 month contract starting immediately.

Several key projects will be the focus for the successful candidate in this role. Specifically the contract manager would be accountable for:

  1. Development of an agenda and accredited program for the HSFO Hypertension Collaborative (to be held in April 2009), &
  2. Providing leadership on the development of a business case, and ultimately oversight, for the development of a new content management system for the HSFO's professional education website.

Additionally, the manager will provide support and guidance to the Associate Manager of Professional Education, who will report to this position for the duration of the contract and particularly through the execution of the HSFO's annual Clinical Update conference for 500 health professionals in December 2008.

Other related projects may also be included as needed.
