New Resource—Flu Vaccine Video, Canadian Paediatric Society and the Eastern Ontario Health Unit

Flu season is upon us. The Canadian Paediatric Society continues to encourage annual influenza vaccination for all children and youth ≥6 months of age.

A new flu vaccine video, produced in partnership with the Eastern Ontario Health Unit, is now available on our the Caring for Kids website: http://www.caringforkids.cps.ca/parent-community/youtube.

New Resource: Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety Mobile App

The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) has released an app that provides instant access, on mobile devices, to useful workplace health and safety advice and information.

The OSH Answers app serves up the Centre’s collection of online fact sheets that is available on the CCOHS website, and which contains thousands of questions and answers on almost 600 topics related to the health and well-being of workers - from workplace stress and chemical safety, to ergonomics and seasonal safety tips.
