Social Justice in Our Communities - Where to from here?

A forum for community activists in Orillia, Bracebridge, Lindsay, Peterborough, Georgina, Barrie & Collingwood sponsored by the Women Our Votes Count Campaign and the Ontario Coalition for Social Justice. We hope that people will come from many sectors - including anti-poverty groups, parents, students, housing groups, seniors, women's groups, shelters, social services agencies, unions and health care workers.


Participants Wanted: Best Practices / Internet Study

The Community Health Research Unit of Ottawa-Carleton will be conducting workshops in Halifax on December 13, Antigonish on December 14, Kingston on January 13, and Ottawa on January 14 as part of a national study examining the effectiveness of internet-based dissemination of evidence-based practice. We are seeking Community Health Professionals as participants. To find out more about the project and what is involved in participating in a workshop, see:
