HEALTH FOR ALL BY THE YEAR 2000?

PRIMARY HEALTH CARE: MEETING THE CHALLENGE

at the Regional Centre, Ottawa, October 21, 22, 2000

This exciting national conference promises to celebrate the contributions of nurses working in and with communities towards the achievement of Health for All by the Year 2000 through primary health care (PHC). Building on the National Think Tank on PHC and Nursing sponsored by RNABC/CNA in 1998, this conference will examine challenges and successes in community nurses implementation of primary health care practice, explore PHC issues related to education and research, and envision future developments to advance primary health care in Canada.

This conference will be of interest to nurses committed to primary health care in their community practice, such as nurse practitioners, public health nurses, and visiting home health nurses, nurse educators and researchers. Watch here for more information and a call for abstracts soon.
