Health for All by the Year 2000? Primary Health Care (PHC): Meeting the Challenge October 21 and 22, 2000 at the Regional Centre in Ottawa. Sponsored by Community Health Nurses' Initiatives Group of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario in partnership with the Community Health Nurses Association of Canada, the Canadian Public Health Association, and the Canadian Nurses Association.



Building on the National Think Tank on PHC and Nursing sponsored by RNABC/CNA in 1998, this conference will examine challenges to and successes in community nurses

Forum: Poverty & Surplus; What Impact have the Cuts had on our Economy?

Policy shifts over the last five years have brought significant changes to Employment Insurance, Welfare, Workers' Compensation and Disability. Some argue the people cut off these income programs have fallen into poverty and homelessness. Others argue that we are just now spending within our means, and the cuts have created jobs.
