During his many years as the founding Executive Director of the RGCO (formerly the Canadian Foundation on Compulsive Gambling), Tibor Barsony contributed enormously to the production and development of programs in the field.
This program provides 3 yearly bursaries of $1000, each for students at Ontario institutions at the post-secondary level. It is designed to support mainly full-time students who undertake a noteworthy project or study related to the promotion of responsible gambling.
The Council is seeking nominations for this year's Tibor I. Barsony Bursary to be awarded at the conference in April.
To nominate an individual, write a letter of not more than one page outlining the reasons for proposing the individual for the award and outlining his/her contributions to the field.
Address the letters, no later than April 12, 2002 to
