This article focuses on the following main topics:

New Resource--Ontario Health Quality Council Quality Improvement Tools

Sections:

The Ontario Health Quality Council (OHQC) has launched a series of quality improvement tools and resources on their website.  These tools will support the efforts of individuals involved in quality improvement in health care from across the province, and bring them together to share their best practices and ideas.  The tools are free to access and use.

Ethno-Racial People with Disabilities Coalition of Ontario and OWHN Call for Academic and Community-Based Research & Other Publications

Sections:

The Ethno-Racial People with Disabilities Coalition of Ontario (ERDCO) in partnership with the Ontario Women's Health Network (OWHN) are updating the ERDCO publication "We Are Visible,"(June 1996) which highlighted the experiences of ethno-racial women with disabilities access to health and healthcare. One important finding of the 1996 "We Are Visible" project was the lack of academic and community-based research being conducted, or even attention being paid, to the experiences of women of colour/racialized populations with disabilities.
