New Website--Immigrant Children


This website, at, has been established for members of the Early Childhood Working Group of the Canadian Coalition for Immigrant Children and Youth (CCICY). CCICY is an ad-hoc, voluntary organization of individuals and organizations across Canada who want to see more and better services and supports for immigrant and refugee children and youth. The blog will act as a site for connection, collaboration, and action on behalf of very young immigrant children, birth to age eight, and their parents.

Results for National Survey on Mental Health in the Workplace Released


The findings of a survey on depression in the workplace, commissioned by Great-West Life Centre for Mental Health in the Workplace, have been released. The study was carried out by Ipsos-Reid and involved a full/part-time worker sample of 4,0122 individuals (1,223 managers and 2,788 non-managers) in Canada.
