Scientist Knowledge Translation Training (SKTTTM)

The Scientist Knowledge Translation Training (SKTTTM) course was developed on the premise that scientists, and increasingly, other practitioners and educators, are agents of change in creating research impact, promoting research utilization, and ensuring that research findings reach the appropriate audiences.  There is a skill set surrounding KT practice, and it is these competencies that the training course was designed to impart.

The SKTT course is intended for anyone who has an interest in:

Public Health Ontario (PHO) is seeking members to join its new Ethics Review Board (ERB). The ERB will serve as the ethics review board of record for PHO beginning this fall and in the future service will be extended to some Public Health Unit-led projects.

Candidates with a variety of professional expertise, including both scientific and non-scientific, are desired.

The Chair will receive remuneration in the form of a stipend.  ERB Members and Community Members are volunteer positions.
