Wage/Salary: $63,172.20 - $71,799.00 per annum\ $34.71 - $39.45 per hour

Position Summary:

The Public Health Planner will research, design, evaluate, plan and implement public health policies and programs for Region of Waterloo Public Health. The individual will also facilitate and lead special project teams related to public health programs. The assignment is in the Infectious Diseases, Dental and Sexual Health division.

Qualifications (Education and Experience):

  • Master’s degree preferred or equivalent of related education and work experience
  • Knowledge of public health research and policy development; health behaviours and behaviour change; health determinants; risk assessment; health promotion program development and community development
