Salary: starting at $48,969
Work with us in this role to reduce the burden of cancer in Ontario by advocating to governments and other decision-makers to ensure that healthy public policy, specifically regarding indoor tanning, healthy eating and active living, is in place. You will provide political advice and analysis and recommend strategies to address emerging cancer control issues.
Your post-secondary education, preferably in public administration, health promotion, or political science is enhanced by 3 years of experience in the public issues field, specifically in policy analysis, government relations or community mobilization. You have excellent interpersonal, organizational, strategic thinking and communication skills demonstrating an ability to write, edit and proof read. A solid understanding of a range of cancer control issues as well as demonstrated ability in research, public policy development and advocacy techniques is requested. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
