The Public Health Agency of Canada in partnership with the Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation and the University of Toronto, will host this interactive pre-conference workshop that includes presentations and group exercises.
Workshop participants will learn about key components of effective injury prevention interventions, using examples such as shaken baby syndrome and seniors falls prevention programs. They will also examine how a best practice intervention related to injury prevention transitions along the continuum -- from best practice definition, program design, evaluation, to dissemination.
