The Champlain CCAC fosters the creation of a seamless system of care that is effective, accountable, compassionate, and responsive to the needs of individuals and local communities across the Champlain region of Eastern Ontario. As a leader and partner within the region, the CCAC is committed to the delivery of equitable access to a range of health and social services, including home, community and school health services, facilitated placement into long-term care homes, and information and referral services. With a newly elected volunteer Board in place, the Champlain CCAC is now entering an exciting phase of transformation focused on delivering on its vision of outstanding care – every person, every day.
As the Chief Executive Officer, you support the Board and work alongside the Champlain LHIN and key partners and stakeholders, to deliver on the organization’s important regional mandate. Setting a clear vision, you drive strategic, financial, and operational excellence by challenging traditional models of care, benchmarking against the best, setting aggressive performance standards and inspiring people to deliver. You manage a budget of $180 million and approximately 600 staff to serve the 1.2 million citizens of Champlain. You promote a culture of integrity, respect, accountability, excellence and collaboration across the organization. Externally, you are a key spokesperson and are called upon to ensure strong relationships with key stakeholders, community leaders, advocacy groups, the media, service providers, and many local and provincial organizations.
As the ideal candidate, you are systems thinker who embodies the CCAC’s brand as a trusted quality care connector. You are a credible leader respected for your transparency, diplomacy, collaborative approach, and dedication to the delivery of integrated and seamless quality care. You have a successful record managing at a senior level within a large, complex, multi-stakeholder organization. You are described as an inspirational, innovative and strategic leader with exceptional skills in operational execution. Your strong communications and interpersonal skills will serve you well as you engage stakeholders and staff in advancing regional and organizational initiatives. Your ability to communicate in both French and English is a highly desirable asset.
