Senior Project Manager, Primary Health Care Information – contract ending June, 2011

Job Summary

The PHCi branch includes three main areas: 1) PHC EMR Content Standards; 2) Voluntary Reporting System; and 3) Analysis, Indicators, Reports and Surveys. This position reports to the Director and will involve working collaboratively with the PHCi Manager as part of the Branch Management Team.

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing leadership in design and execution of priority projects for the PHCi branch aligned with CIHI’s strategic plan and CIHI’s long range analytical plan. The incumbent will have a high level of accountability and decision-making authority for identified priority projects, including budgeting and matrix management of resources due to their cross disciplinary nature. Specifically, the Senior Project Manager will lead and manage the Analysis, Indicators, Reports and Surveys aspects of the branch portfolio as well as contribute to other branch activities.
