The Child Health Program team requires a creative and self-starting leader to develop, implement, manage and evaluate the PMD plan for the Region of Peel in consultation with Family Health Management and the Regional Steering committee; provide consultation to internal and external stakeholders such as the Medical Officer of Health, Regional Council, hospitals, physicians, Children’s Aid Societies and Ontario Early Years centres based on expert knowledge of PMD services and best practice models; research, analyze and evaluate opportunities for the education of service providers regarding PMD; further develop the knowledge of PMD by analyzing and interpreting new research and best practices; analyze and incorporate changes to the PMD program based on evolving government guidlelines and evidence based practice; consult on the development of policies and procedures for the program through collaboration with service providers; develop and maintain a strategic network of service providers and agencies in the community, designed to enhance the collaborative service system for PMD.
