Performance Improvement Specialist
Reporting to the Senior Director, Performance, Contract and Accountability, the Performance Improvement Specialist will monitor, analyze and evaluate local health system performance as well as the performance of health service providers in relation to performance improvement principles, provincial and local goals and service accountability agreements.
Your responsibilities will include providing specialist advice in the development of performance standards in the execution of the Integrated Health Service Plan and other related plans and in the negotiation of agreements with health service providers. You will provide expertise in the development and implementation of performance management policies, procedures and strategies as well as the tools and methods to facilitate evaluation of performance from multiple perspectives including financial, service and quality of care. You will also support program staff in the interpretation and implementation of performance specifications and resolution of performance issues.
Location: London with potential for flexibility within Southwestern Ontario.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree, preferably in a health discipline or the equivalent in education, training and experience and knowledge of performance management frameworks and evaluation techniques. Your experience should include analysis and interpretation of performance data (e.g. clinical, service and financial) and you will have developed strong interpersonal skills, team orientation and proven ability to build and maintain relations with diverse stakeholders. You will possess superior analytical and oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in French and understanding of the Ontario health care system would be assets.
