Eye See…Eye Learn is a free childhood eye health and awareness program targeted to Junior Kindergarten families.
The program will be expanding to London Middlesex, Thunder Bay and Region, Niagara and York Region in 2012. On June 21, 2011 the Premier of Ontario announced funding support to bring the program across the province over the next 5 years. In participating school boards, Junior Kindergarten children are eligible for eye exams, and if required, one free pair of eyeglasses. Only a small percentage of children ever have an eye exam before starting JK.
