2 Temporary Full-Time Positions

Location: 99 Regina Street South, Waterloo, Ontario
Wage: $58,039.80 - $80,971.80/$31.89 - $44.49 per hour

Consider one of these exciting temporary (approximately 13 months) opportunities to promote and protect the health of individuals, families, social networks, and the community in order to enable all children and youth to attain and maintain their optimal level of physical, mental, emotional and social development.

In addition to a current Certificate of Competence as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario and a Baccalaureate in Nursing that includes preparation in Public Health Nursing or Diploma in Public Health Nursing, you have thorough knowledge of child and youth health public health related issues.  You will have a knowledge of and skill in application of the nursing process; child, adolescent, and adult learning principles; life cycle and maturational stress factors, and the etiology of health factors specific to children and youth, and specific experience with this population.  A detail-oriented professional, you demonstrate experience in community organization, conducting informal/formal assessments, providing innovative health promotion activities, health counseling, group or project leadership, group process and facilitation and proven public speaking skills.  Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer is expected.  The ability to travel to various regional locations is also required.
