Request for Proposals: Francophone Tobacco Control Planning and Training, PTCC

The Program Training and Consultation Centre (PTCC) (http://www.ptcc-cfc.on.ca/) located at Cancer Care Ontario, is a resource centre of the Smoke-free Ontario Strategy, and provides tobacco control training, technical assistance and knowledge development and exchange services to health intermediaries working in Ontario. The PTCC requires a service provider to plan, develop and/or adapt and deliver tobacco control training and consultation services to build the capacity of francophone health intermediaries working in Ontario. Training topics may include brief contact smoking cessation, partnership development for smoking cessation, orientation to comprehensive tobacco control, among others. The service provider is also expected to conduct a formal needs assessment as part of the planning process.  Working relationships with francophone health service providers and networks will also be developed to support this work.
