The Ontario Pharmacists’ Association’s Diabetes Level 2 Certificate Program--Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) Preparation Course

This three-day program supports pharmacists and other health professionals interested in writing the Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) examination, a nationally recognized certification administered by the Canadian Diabetes Educator Certification Board. This course builds on the information learned in Level 1, with a strong focus on best practices in providing education towards the self-managed care of diabetes. The program is also appropriate for pharmacists who do not wish to take the CDE exam, but who want to enhance their skills as diabetes educators within their practice setting.
