The Terrace local health area has a strong reputation. It works closely and positively with community members, local Councils and other stakeholders. Internally, the team is strong and a highly positive work relationship exists with staff and physicians. The area is appealing for recruiting specialists and physicians and a stable medical practice exists at the Mills Memorial Hospital, the designated regional hub hospital. The HSA reports to the Chief Operating Officer of the Northwest area and leads the integration and delivery of a wide variety of quality health care programs through a broad range of acute and community services located in large communities and smaller rural settings.
As the ideal candidate, you bring experience in a progressively senior health care administration or clinical roles. Your superior interpersonal skills allow you to build collaborative relationships with a broad range of internal and external partners including community leaders, Aboriginal leaders, staff, and physicians.
