Health – Chronic Disease & Injury Prevention
Two (2) positions in total
One (1) regular full-time position
One (1) contract full-time position/ approximately thirteen (13) months
As an integral member of the Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention Division, you will work in a self directed manner within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. You will apply health promotion principles and strategies to policy development and program implementation in collaboration with appropriate department staff and community partners. This involves program planning, development, implementation and evaluation of health promotion programs using proven tools. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment; you will provide consultation to staff, community partners and other professionals. You will develop recommendations based on analysis of data and results related to program planning, research and evidence informed practice. You will develop and maintain productive relationships including consultation with key stakeholders in the community and liaise with internal and external departments, agencies and organizations. You will prepare and submit reports as required.
