Youth Peer Sexual Health Education: How Can We Improve Program Evaluation?

YOUTH PEER SEXUAL HEALTH EDUCATION: HOW CAN WE IMPROVE PROGRAM EVALUATION?

We are a team of youth and university researchers working on a project that aims to find out what kinds of evaluations are being done for youth peer sexual health education programs. In other words, we’re trying to learn about whether the programs are being evaluated in Canada and how.

We are looking for youth to complete an online survey who are:

·         between the ages of 16 to 29, and

·         have had experience working or volunteering as a peer sexual health educator in Canada.

Note that peer sexual health education can come in various forms, including workshops, school assemblies, handing out pamphlets, newsletters, and condoms, or connecting with youth by phone or internet. It may also involve artistic approaches, such as using visual arts, music, theatre, or other creative forms.

We are offering participants a $5 Puretracks gift certificate for taking the time to fill out our online survey.
