As a nation-wide organization, the Canadian Mental Health Association promotes the mental health of all and supports the resilience and recovery of people experiencing mental illness. The CMHA accomplishes this mission through advocacy, education, research and programming.  Prime Management Group Inc. is partnering with CMHA Lambton Kent to lead the search for a driven and entrepreneurial minded individual to take on the role of Director of Operations.

As a member of the senior management team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Operations will be expected to contribute to strategic initiatives and goals while enhancing enterprise performance.   You will be responsible for the daily operations of the branch. In this highly visible role, the position requires an organized achiever capable of balancing responsibilities such as: the development of program plans, operational plans, policies and procedures, the administration of program budgets, evaluation of services and risk management. As an accomplished business leader with a track record in change management you will be responsible for a team of dedicated individuals.  You will have the ability to lead operational integration and systemic change.   You have exceptional people skills and an outstanding level of integrity that will enable you to quickly gain the trust and respect of staff and external stakeholders.  You will act as the designate for the CEO in their absence.   You must have an ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare providers and other community agencies.  As part of this newly merged organization you have incredible opportunities to mold and shape its future.

The chosen applicant will have a Graduate degree in Nursing, or Masters of Health Care Administration or a related discipline with advance preparation in health care administration.   The successful applicant must have superior written and oral communication skills, coupled with demonstrated organizational and strong interpersonal skills.  Experience in community mental health service delivery is an asset.
