Wage/Salary: $84,878.80 - $104,589.40 per annum (includes market adjustment of $6,000, reviewed annually)
Working with and supervising a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, you will manage all aspects of an assigned public health program, the Infectious Disease & Tuberculosis Control program, with a budget of approximately one million dollars. This calls for comprehensive knowledge of public health management, including health protection and promotion, multi-media and marketing strategies, epidemiology, community health planning, program evaluation and research methodology, as well as labour relations, policy and program development, and budget preparation.
You will have a master’s degree in Nursing or a health related field is combined with current a license to practice in the appropriate discipline, and significant, related public health experience in a progressively responsible leadership, supervisory or management capacity. You will be expected to provide on-call coverage on a rotating weekends and selected weekdays for communicable disease control emergency response, and travel to various locations in the Region.
