Canada SAR invites you to participate in a three day intensive Sexual Attitudes Reassessment Workshop. Ponder; participate in a facilitated personal journey. Assess; delve deep into your values and attitudes. Connect; grow, confront, and overcome your challenges. Come and become aware, assess, explore, confront and challenge your attitudes, values, and beliefs about sex, sexual behaviours, sexualities, and gender identities in a safe, open, confidential, and nonjudgmental environment. The SAR workshop will include the potential for emotional and evocative sexually explicit material.
On a professional level, the SAR workshop is targeted at participants whose work requires interpersonal relationships in order to provide services to other individuals. We understand that sex, sexual behaviours, sexualities, and gender identities are part of our communities and that being able to comfortably communicate with those we provide services is integral to our professional lives, practices, and environments. In order to be able to comfortably communicate with others it is vital to be able to know ourselves deeply. We need to understand our limits, boundaries, and the manner in which we perceive and experience sex, sexual behaviours, sexualities, and gender identities in order to delve deep into the root of our attitudes and values.
