We're proud to announce the arrival of Bounce Back & Thrive (BBT)!
BBT is an evolving evidence-based resiliency skills training program for parents with children under the age of 8 years. It's a successful adaptation of Reaching IN...Reaching OUT (RIRO) resiliency skills training for professionals.
BBT helps parents build skills that increase their capacity to role model resilience in their daily interactions with their children.
BBT was designed to be delivered by trainers working with non-profit organizations in local communities. The skills training enhances the capacity of parents to provide caring relationships, role model skills that build resilience and then apply and practice those skills directly with their children. BBT is an interactive program delivered in 10 sessions. To find out more, download the BBT brochure from http://www.reachinginreachingout.com/programs-bb&t.htm.
Parents tell us BBT helps to reduce their stress levels, find positive things to appreciate in their lives, believe in themselves and their abilities, and recognize more strengths and positives in their children... and more. To learn more about BBT's effectiveness, visit http://www.reachinginreachingout.com/effectiveness-bb&t.htm.
There are several ways you can become an authorized BBT Trainer; visit http://www.reachinginreachingout.com/becometrainer.htm to find out more. To host a BBT trainer "intensive" in your community, contact us at [email protected].
Reaching IN…Reaching OUT (RIRO) is a non-profit, evidence-based skills training program dedicated to helping young children and adults around them develop their resilience. We welcome your comments and suggestions. Please contact: Darlene Hall, RIRO Coordinator, at [email protected].
