The Healthy Sexuality Program requires a self-directed, enthusiastic individual to work within a collaborative team environment of Community Development Workers and Public Health Nurses to provide outreach and harm reduction services in accordance with the Ontario Public Health Standards 2008 – Infectious Diseases Program Standards, Sexual Health, Sexually Transmitted Infections, and Blood-borne Infections (including HIV). As an integral member of the Health Promotion, Education and Outreach multidisciplinary team, you will deliver needle exchange services including injection drug, steroid and piercing supplies through the Peel Works Needle Exchange Program (NEP) mobile van. Together with a current staff member, you will provide needle exchange services on weekday evenings (will vary between 1 – 4 shifts/week) between the hours of 5:00pm – 10:00pm.
