Prenatal Assignments

The Middlesex-London Health Unit is currently seeking nurses who are primarily interested in teaching evening Prenatal Classes. Successful candidates will be required to teach a minimum of 5 series per year (one series is 5-7 classes). Along with a Prenatal Assignment, successful candidates may also work in other areas of the Health Unit.

Candidates must have a B.Sc.N. and current CNO registration. A valid Ontario driver’s licence and own transportation is required. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, organization, and computer skills are necessary.  Previous experience and strong interest in Maternal / Newborn health is preferred.The ability to communicate in French and other languages would be considered an asset.  Flexible work hours are required, as this position involves evening classes. Successful candidates must be available for mandatory orientation.

Interviews are planned for the week of September 4 - 7, 2012.

Orientation is scheduled for October 1 - 4, 2012, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
