We are looking for a Health Equity Strategist to Join Our Team in Calgary!

The Health Equity Strategist collaborates with members of the Population and Public Health Portfolio to create opportunities for identifying and reducing health inequities that will ultimately improve the overall health of Alberta’s population.  The Health Equity Strategist utilizes research and evaluation skills, professional knowledge and skills, along with population health promotion strategies to develop, implement and evaluate various components of the Promoting Health Equity Strategy.  The Health Equity Strategist initiates, develops, coordinates, leads and evaluates health equity-promoting initiatives through collaborative working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in health promotion, population health, or health-related field required
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years relevant health promotion, population and public health, project management, and applied health research experience
