Information Session: Strengthening Families for Parents and Youth (SFPY), Parent Action on Drugs

Toronto, Ontario
December 11, 2012

12.00-2:00 p.m.
Scadding Court Community Centre

Please join us for an information session on Strengthening Families for Parents and Youth (SFPY), a nine week program that builds stronger family connections.

Parent Action on Drugs would like to introduce the program to agencies and community services which may be interested in collaborating to deliver SFPY. Funding is available from Drug Prevention Community Investment Program to support cycles of SFPY in 2013.

Strengthening Families for Parents & Youth (SFPY) is an evidence based program involving at risk youth ages 12-16 and their parents or caregivers in the same 9 week course! Parents and youth attend sessions separately for the first hour, and then participate together for the second hour. Parents and youth improve family relationships with effective communication, negotiating family rules, and working together to solve problems.
