Planning at a Glance, PHO

February 6th, 2013

10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

This webinar provides an overview of Health Promotion Capacity-Building Service’s 6 steps to health promotion planning. The steps include: pre-planning and project management, situational assessment, setting goals, audiences and outcome objectives, choosing strategies and activities and assigning resources, developing indicators, and reviewing the plan.  As we examine the 6 steps, we address the “how” and “why” of each step. To close, we identify quality sources for more information, tools and describe our customized services.

As this is a lecture-style webinar, there will be limited time available for questions. If you have in-depth questions, or want an opportunity to explore and practice, please sign up for one of our planning consultation sessions on February 7th, 8th or 11th, 2013.

Presenter: Nimira Lalani, masters of science, health promotion field support specialist: policy and planning, Public Health Ontario
