The Central West Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) is one of fourteen CCACs in Ontario dedicated to supporting and enhancing the quality of life, independence, health and well-being of individuals in the community by offering a single point of access for community services and demonstrating leadership and excellence in community care.
Connecting people with the quality health care they need, when and where they need it, the Central West CCAC is committed to delivering the highest quality of in-home and community-based care possible. Home to over 800, 144 people and representing 6.25% of Ontario’s most diverse population, the Central West catchment area spans from Brampton to Orangeville to Dufferin County.
Your technical expertise, energy, innovation and enthusiasm for collaborating across boundaries makes you an ideal candidate for the role of Director, Finance at the Central West CCAC. As Director, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team and will have responsibility for a $94 million budget and 7 staff involved in financial, accounting and payroll functions.
With your accounting designation (CA, CGA or CMA) and your university degree in business or accounting, you will be looked upon to provide financial leadership and expertise in the areas of planning, budgeting, forecasting policy, reporting and internal controls to advance business objectives. You will represent the CCAC on financial matters when dealing with Local Health Integration Network, other CCACs and external stakeholders. Reporting to the VP, Finance and Information Technology, you will also be an integral contributor to projects and initiatives which advance the goals of organization.
To be successful in this role, you will have senior financial leadership experience (3-5 years) in an organization of similar complexity, superior communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders and will have demonstrated your team-building and mentoring abilities. You are also outgoing, have excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills and can be counted on for your commitment to meet the organization’s objectives. A background in the health care system or in a not-for-profit environment would be an asset.
