Temporary (one year) Full-Time
The Registered Dental Hygienist will provide surveillance and the full range of clinical oral hygiene services to the community served by the Brant County Health Unit. Specifically, the incumbent will provide services to selected target groups of children and adults.
Qualified applicants must have graduated from a college program, or other approved program in dental hygiene, and possess current registration with the College of Dental Hygiene to practice in Ontario. A current CPR certification and Hepatitis B immunization is also required. Additional qualifications needed include recent clinical experience, abilities to lift and transport heavy equipment, valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable vehicle access. The ability to speak a second language is an asset, as are an understanding of public health practices and the ability to provide effective dental services in a variety of settings.
Terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with ONA Allied Collective Agreement - Salary range: $28.98 – 34.09 per hour (70 hours in a two-week period)
