Leadership in health care institutions plays a critical role in setting mandates and priorities, and shaping services to help meet the needs of patients and providers alike. DiverseCity Counts, in partnership with Mount Sinai Hospital, examined leadership diversity in local health integration networks (LHINs), hospitals and community care access centres (CCACs) in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The report looked at sex, gender identity, visible minorities, disability and sexual orientation in senior management and on governance boards of these institutions. Join us for a free webinar featuring a panel discussion on the findings of this report, why diverse leadership is important, and what institutions can do to diversify their leadership teams.
DiverseCity Counts is an initiative of DiverseCity: The Greater Toronto Leadership Project, a project of Maytree and CivicAction, funded in part by the government of Ontario. With its practical initiatives, the project is changing the face of our region's leadership. Learn more at http://www.diversecitytoronto.ca.
