The London InterCommunity Health Centre’s mission is to provide inclusive and equitable health and social services to those who experience barriers to care. We are a growing organization that is part of a strong network of 75 community health centres across the province. Last year, our interdisciplinary staff team of 85 cared for more than 6,000 clients from across the city. Our team supports the physical and mental health care needs of our clients while assisting with issues related to the social determinants of health.
On March 7, 2014 the programs and services of the Centre of Hope Family Health Team will transition to the Health Centre. Clients will continue to receive quality primary health care services at the Centre of Hope’s Wellington Street location by staff employed by the London InterCommunity Health Centre. These services are funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care through an agreement with the South West Local Health Integration Network.
The Health Centre is currently hiring a number of staff to provide care primarily at the Centre of Hope site (work at other locations may be required). For more information about the Health Centre, please visit www.lihc.on.ca or see us on Facebook (London InterCommunity Health Centre) or Twitter (@HealthCentre).
