Rural Transportation Webinar Series, Ontario Healthy Communities Coalition and Rural Ontario Institute

The Ontario Healthy Communities Coalition (OHCC) and the Rural Ontario Institute (ROI), in collaboration with HC Link, is hosting a series of three webinars on rural transportation in February and March 2014. A component of the Accelerating Rural Transportation Solutions project, the webinars will be organized around the following themes:

  1. Framing the issues, identifying the challenges, and exploring the opportunities;
  2. Importance of partnerships & collaborations to establishing rural transportation initiatives; &
  3. Garnering support from municipal representatives and community members.

Each webinar will feature presenters with varied experience, and will offer a mixture of theory, strategies for success (based on promising or best practices from across Ontario), and tools and resources for further reference. Opportunities will be provided for participants to ask questions and engage in discussion.

The webinars may be taken individually or as a series. All webinars will be recorded and posted to the HC Link website.

Certificate of Completion

A certificate of completion is available for those who attend or listen to the recording of at least two of the three webinars in the Rural Transportation series and respond to the self-reflective questions provided.
