Suicide Education & Prevention Coordinator, Alive!Canada

You are excited by the opportunity to bring together community stakeholders throughout Essex, Kent, and Lambton counties, to promote awareness of suicide prevention. You will collaborate with and educate agencies and local organizations on existing capacities to recognize and respond to people at risk of suicide. This project involves adapting, designing, and enhancing suicide prevention programs distinct to each region throughout the Erie St. Clair LHIN. Take your career to the next level as you address the existing needs for suicide prevention, awareness, and intervention strategies.

Your master’s degree in social work, psychology, public health and/or education is complemented by your professional skills and expertise in project development, management, and community engagement. You have a natural ability to communicate with others to lead integrated initiatives that promote suicide prevention. Your valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is required. This is a one-year, full-time contract position.
