Public health professionals and community stakeholders working to influence the development of healthy public policies have identified the need to better understand the merit, worth, and utility of these policies. Therefore, Public Health Ontario and the National Collaborating Centre for Healthy Public Policy have teamed up to present tools and resources for analyzing and evaluating healthy public policies. These tools will be shared along with a step process for evaluating these types of policies.
Presenters: Florence Morestin and Kim Bergeron
By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Understand three types of healthy public policy evaluation
- Recognize the importance of analyzing and evaluating policies
- Reflect on how the information provided can be applied to their own work
