System Design and Integration Lead
Focus: Mental Health and Addictions (MHA)
This is your opportunity to make a difference! The South West LHIN is seeking an innovative leader to join their dynamic team to cultivate ideas, drive results, and transform our healthcare system!
In this full-time permanent position the System Design and Integration Lead reports to the Senior Director, System Design and Integration and is responsible for: providing direction to planning, coordination and integration activities in the area of Mental Health and Addictions; coordinating and conducting analysis of the local health care system; advising on and promoting effective use of project and program management tools, methodologies and performance indicators; identifying and fostering LHIN-wide relationships among health care and related sectors for health improvement; and overseeing and ensuring alignment across a portfolio of projects, and providing effective leadership for goal-oriented partnerships and collaborations.
As part of a broader strategy to transform our healthcare system, improve health system outcomes and enhance population health, you will work in collaboration with health service providers, primary care clinicians and other LHIN partners to lead strategic planning, health system design and integration, and improvement initiatives with a focus on Mental Health and Addictions.
Qualifications: superior leadership, interpersonal, and relationship building/management skills in healthcare to successfully engage a broad range of stakeholders of diverse backgrounds; strong system thinking skills and ability to conceptualize and advance complex, interdependent initiatives; experience in project management, and leading and coordinating the work of teams; conducting research, analysis and evaluation of health care issues; demonstrated experience developing, evaluating, implementing and promoting health care initiatives across multiple sectors; Master’s degree in health administration, health planning, business administration or a related field or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills; knowledge and experience in Mental Health and Addictions preferred; proficiency in French would be an asset.
