Deadline April 1, 2016
Resetting the Table, Food Secure Canada’s 9th Assembly (Toronto - October 13-16 2016), promises to be our most exciting, diverse and largest yet, nested in a city where the food movement thrives in every neighbourhood. Whether you are a chef, a farmer, a student, a community health organizer, a policy maker, an activist or a business person, Resetting the Table will have a place for you.
October 13-16, 2016
Do you have a message, a lesson, or a conversation to bring to Resetting the Table? We are looking for plenaries, workshops, pecha kuchas and any creative event to bring the diverse voices of the food movement to the Assembly.
Our call for proposals contains three options. Please follow the following links to fill out the appropriate form (you must be log-out of the website to access the forms):
- Sessions - Presenters, workshops, panels, pecha kuchas, etc: these sessions will make up the programming during concurrent sessions at Ryerson University (5, 30 or 90 minutes).
- Events – These events will be as diverse as the places in Toronto and will take place off site (not at Ryerson). You must be prepared to assume responsibility for all aspects of organizing (location, food and beverage costs, etc.).
- Tours – Tours will involve stops at just one or a number of sites in or outside of Toronto.
