The Summit theme is Physical Literacy for Lifelong Participation, and is intended to be a valuable experience for those involved in a variety of sectors: Community sport and recreation leaders, elementary and secondary teachers, recreation programmers from municipal and not for profit groups, early years educators, health and health promotion professionals, post-secondary students and administrators.
There are 19 session options and 20 speakers, including both internationally renowned and local professionals in the field. Keynote speakers include:
- Dr. Dean Kriellaars - Associate Professor at the University of Manitoba and renowned Physical Literacy advocate
- Brandy Tanenbaum - Program Coordinator, RBC First Office For Injury Prevention, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre
The Summit early-bird rate is $64.20 by March 24th and $74.80 after March 24th. Student rate is $32.40.
Fee Includes attending 3 plenary sessions, your 4 selected breakout sessions, light refreshments Friday evening and Saturday morning, and a light lunch on Saturday. There are no discounts for only attending one day
