Topic: Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace - Practical Strategies
The morning session includes a keynote presentation from Mary Ann Baynton on how organizations can apply the Psychological Health and Safety Standard and its guidelines to further the mental health and well-being of employees. A panel discussion will follow, with leaders representing the Mental Health Commission who will discuss the Psychological Health and Safety Standard Case Study Research project currently underway. This session is available via webinar for those not able to join us in person.
There will be two streams in the afternoon, one for general conference attendees, and another for public health workplace health practitioners hosted by the Workplace Health Community of Practice. The public health session will host roundtable discussions on the following topics:
- How can intermediaries support workplaces to implement the Standard for Psychological Health & Safety in the Workplace (Q & A with Mary Ann Baynton)
- Keeping workplace health on the provincial agenda
- Emerging research and best practices in workplace health
Unfortunately these afternoon sessions are not available via webinar.
