KFL&A Public Health, an accredited local public health agency affiliated with Queen’s University, serves to promote and protect the health of the more than 180,000 residents of Kingston, Frontenac, and Lennox & Addington area. The Knowledge Management Team has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst. The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for working closely with developers, data integration specialists, project managers, network engineers and other stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), executing test iterations, tracking/reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the development and coordination of a range of knowledge exchange methods (e.g. communities of practice, communities of interest, newsletters, workshops, online collaborative spaces, online repositories, etc.) while liaising with diverse stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a Post-secondary 3 year diploma in computer programming or a related technical program from a recognized school, 1-2 years relevant experience in a software development environment, experience with Restful Web Services; GitHub and Bamboo; MS SQL and NO SQL; Java; Jira and ServiceDesk and demonstrated project management experience. Experience developing infographics and webinars is considered an asset.
