The 6th Global Forum on Health Promotion is less than three weeks away! On October 16-17, delegates from across Canada and around the world will gather in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Ottawa Charter, discuss the links between health promotion and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, and create a major civil society declaration on health promotion: the PEI Declaration.
The intermediary program for the 6th Global Forum has just been released, with highlights including a keynote speech from Zsuzsanna Jakab, Regional Director of the World Health Organization’s European division, a panel on the New Leadership in Health Promotion, and a roundtable discussion on governance for health featuring speakers from Canada, Europe and Africa. Concurrent workshop sessions led by practitioners, educators, researchers and health leaders from around the world dig deeper into the links between health promotion and the Sustainable Development Goals.
There’s still time to take part in this exciting, international event! Find out more about the program and register here: http://www.globalforumpei-forummondialipe.com.
International registrants receive $100 off the registration fee with the offer code 6GFHP.
